Twin Tin Bots is a new board game designed by Phillipe Keyaerts (Evo, Vinci, Olympos, Small WorldTwin Tin Bots, as you might have guessed, is to gather more crystals than your competitors. Since you execute the programs for both of your robots each turn, it definitely looks like making the most out of making changes to your one robot each turn (while, hopefully, having an effecient program in place for the other) will be the key to winning. On each turn, you have six different tasks at your disposal (all programs are available at all times) and trying to set up long term plans looks like it will be both tough and necessary. Also, I will probably be awful at this game, even if Twin Tin Bots looks like the sort of thing that I will thoroughly enjoy. Those that like board games with low randomness and a lot of decisions to make with a very limited budget for actions might take a look to see if this fits your bill. The cartoony art shown on the page looks promising as well, and the game promises to play in under an hour. If you would like more information on Twin Tin Bots, you can get it over on Kickstarter.
