Yggdrasill: A Viking roleplaying game coming soon from @cubicle7 and the designers of Qin: The Warring States

I’m posting this in part to show you this strange/awesome trailer for Yggdrasill, an upcoming roleplaying game from the folks at Cubicle 7 Games and the designers of Qin: The Warring States (Which got Silver in Best Game in the 2007 ENnies). We get to see a little of the book’s layout (which has some very nice art, and good looking graphic design, if nothing else). We also get to hear a lot of drumming and some birds or something while we do it. So I guess that’s a thing. Anyway, until this trailer went up, I had never heard of Yggdrasill, so I guess it served its purpose. The book will be releasing in a PDF/book combo for $49.99 and is currently scheduled to be released in August or September, 2012, so there’s not much time before it’s out. In my attempt to find more about the game, I did manage to stumble across its character sheet over on the official page and learn that the game was originally published in French in 2009 by 7ème Cercle. I’ll bring you more as soon as there is more to know.
